Notice is hereby given in accordance with the provisions of the Boonsboro Zoning Ordinance, the Board of Zoning Appeals for the Town of Boonsboro will hold a public hearing on Tuesday, August 19, 2025, at 7:00 PM. in the Charles F. “Skip” Kauffman Building Meeting Chambers, 21 North Main Street, Boonsboro, MD, at which time parties of interest and citizens will have an opportunity to be heard relative to the following: 

BZA: 25-01. To hear a request for three (3) variances for 305 North Main Street subdivision request:

1) Minimum Requirement of 10,000 SF

  • Proposed Subdivision – 5,425 SF

2) Minimum Lot Width 80 feet

  • Proposed Subdivision – 34 feet

3)  Side Yard Set Back 10 feet

  • Proposed Subdivision – 5 feet


Notice: Pursuant to the Maryland Open Meetings Law, notice is hereby given that the deliberations of the Board of Appeals are open to the public.  The Board at its discretion may render a decision as to some or all of the cases at the hearing described above or at a subsequent hearing, the date and time of which will be announced prior to the conclusion of the public hearing.  Individuals requiring special accommodations are requested to contact Town Hall at 301-432-5141. Any party desiring a transcript to these proceedings shall be responsible for a competent stenographer.
