*Certificate of Nomination Filing Deadline for Town Elections

All candidates interested in running for office must submit their Certificate of Nomination to the Town Clerk by 4:30PM on April 15, 2024. 
Financial Disclosure Statements are asked to be submitted  by 4:30PM on April 15, 2024 as well, and must be submitted by April 19, 2024. 

Residents interested in running for Assistant Mayor or Town Council can obtain a 'Certificate of Nomination' form at Town Hall. The citizens of Boonsboro will be voting on May 14, 2024 to fill the positions of Mayor and 2 Council Members.

All Candidates must be citizens of the United States, registered voters and a resident of the Town for at least 3 years immediately preceding the election. (If you moved here before May 14, 2020 you are eligible)

Candidates for Mayor must be at least 25 years of age and Candidates for Council must be at least 21 years of age.
