Spring Curb-side Bulk Clean-Up

Early on the morning of Saturday, May 18, the Town will provide a curb-side bulk trash pick-up.
Your items should be placed at your curb by Friday evening.  
Any objects not out at that time will have to be stored by the property owner until the next scheduled bulk collection in the Fall.

 NO TVs, Computer Monitors or Computers

Acceptable Items: Metal appliances (washing machines, clothes dryers, dishwashers, ovens, stove, BBQ grills, water heaters, microwave ovens, and other appliances), furniture (wood, metal & plastic), carpet (rolled & tied), mattresses & box springs, miscellaneous junk and other items that are too large or too heavy to be placed inside a trash bag.


 Unacceptable Items: Televisions and computer monitors, computers, any item with Freon gas (air conditioning units, refrigerators and dehumidifiers), car batteries and automotive parts, tires, toxic materials, construction & remodeling items (including drywall, counter-tops, toilets & sinks, bathtubs, lumber, shingles, siding, concrete block & bricks), propane tanks and yard waste (grass, sticks, plants, and tree limbs)

AVW can take empty paint containers. To properly dispose of paint cans, paint must be completely hardened within the can and the lid must be off.
