*Shafer Park Closes for Season

 Shafer Park will close for the season today, Saturday, November 1, 2025. The Park will still be available for your enjoyment, but the restrooms will be winterized at this time and locked until they reopen in April 2026. (The Public Works staff completes the winterization at the beginning of November each year to avoid freezing and broken water lines as the nighttime temperatures drop)  We want to extend a huge thank you to our Public Works staff and Park Board for a wonderful 2025 season and for always keeping our Park looking beautiful!!
