📌 NOW is the time to start thinking about running for Office in the 2026 Town Election 🗳️
⏳ Are you interested in being part of the Town Council? This is YOUR opportunity to have a voice and help make decisions for our Town. We see so many of you that are passionate about potential development and other agenda items at meetings and online, and we know that you want to make a difference 🗳️ Step up and put your name on the 2026 Town Election ballot!!
📌 The citizens of Boonsboro will be voting to fill the Assistant Mayor and three (3) Council Member seats in the Town Election set for May 12, 2026.
Candidates must be United States citizens, Washington County registered voters and a resident of the corporate Town limits for at least three (3) years prior to the election (i.e., lived here since May 2023) Candidates for Assistant Mayor must be at least 25 years old and Candidates for Council Members must be at least 21 years old.
📜 Certificates of Nomination can be picked up at Town Hall in January 2026 and must be returned to Town Clerk Jesse Powers by 4:30PM on Monday, April 13, 2026.
⏰ Residents living within the corporate limits of Boonsboro, who are registered to vote in Washington County, are qualified to vote in the Town election. Make a difference!!
